Striking black and white butterfly, the Large Tree Nymph, also known as the Paper Kite, the white tree nymph or Rice Paper butterfly. This butterfly originates in Southeast Asia, but flourishes in butterfly conservatories in the United States.
The butterflies featured here were photographed at the Butterfly House in St Louis and at the St Louis Zoo in their new Butterfly Conservatory.
