A non-profit club whose main objectives are 1) sharing information about birds, 2) educating new bird owners as to the proper care, diet, housing and socialization of their birds, as well as dangers to their birds, and 3) placing unwanted and rescued birds into good homes through our adoption/rescue program.

Kentuckiana Feathered Friends will accept abused, unwanted and unloved birds and find them good loving homes where they will be accepted and appreciated as a family member.
Our Club meets monthy to discuss our birds and to keep intouch with the latest avian information.

We are a 501C3 (pending) volunteer group for bird lovers. Our purpose is to educate and instruct on the proper care, handling and maintenance of psittaciformes, to encourage companion bird and captive breeding programs, and to encourage research and educational programs about parrots.
