First of all, for the sake of this discussion, let’s classify “wide” as meaning more than 48 inches in width. Second, the types of pet gates that we are going to review can be identified within three major groups, fixed mounted, pressure mounted and free standing. We are fortunate today that there are multiple options, styles and colors to choose from. However we still need to consider where we intend to place the gate, and how it will be used.
