The handmade ear wires are lead and nickel free. They are made from enameled coated copper parawire which means that the base metal is copper but the copper is coated in both silver and then a clear enamel…so no metal touches your ear. You can find many references saying that Stainless Steel is not magnetic, as well as that it will not stain under any conditions – both of those statements are not exactly correct. Stainless Steel (SS)- is very hard material, that will not shave or scrape easily, will not rust under normal indoor conditions.
