As a pet owner, you have an inherent duty to spay or neuter your animal. Everyday thousands of homeless animals are put to sleep at pounds all around the United States. Much of the problem surrounding unwanted, stray animals is due to irresponsible owners who refuse to fix their pets for one reason or another. Remember, that even “in-door” pets can easily escape and procreate, adding to the current dog and cat overpopulation situation.
